All classes will begin the week of August 12, 2024 and end the week of May 12th 2025.

Please note we follow Cobb County school for inclement weather closings, and all school holidays.

Please note that if classes do not reach a minimum number of participants they may be cancelled. Classes may also be added depending on interest.

Which class level am I?

Beginner – 1st / 2nd year

Intermediate – 2nd / 3rd year

Intermediate 2 – 3rd / 4th year

Elite – 4+ years

If you are unsure of your level, please reach out and we can assist! Also, once classes start, if you need to switch levels we can adjust accordingly.

2024-2025 CANCELLED CLASSES

Due to space issues or students involvement in shows, sometimes we have to cancel classes. Please refer to the Master Calendar for the most up to date information. Here is the current class cancellation schedule as of August:

September 23rd – 27th : Fall Break – All classes & rehearsals cancelled

October 21st- High School Open School rehearsal cancelled

October 28th- Intermediate Tap classes and Beginner Tap class cancelled 

October 31st – All classes & rehearsals cancelled

November 4th- Elite and Intermediate Ballet Classes cancelled

November 14th-Acting Classes Cancelled

Nov 25th – 29th : Thanksgiving Break – All classes & rehearsals cancelled

December 5th- Dance Company cancelled

December 20th – January 3rd – BLP/ECT closure

Jan 25th – Feb 1st : Company Show Week – All classes & rehearsals cancelled

February 17th – 21st : Winter Break – All classes & rehearsals cancelled

April 7th – 11th : Spring Break – all classes & rehearsals cancelled

May 15th – last day of classes

These classes are typically divided into PreK-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade groups. 

Dress Code for Dance Classes

PRESCHOOL / ELEMENTARY CLASSES

  • Dance dresses or leotards
  • Any color footed or convertible tights
  • Pink ballet shoes
  • Tan tap shoes

BOYS

  • Black pants / shorts
  • T-shirt or tank (In ballet boys must wear a white shirt or tank top)
  • Appropriate shoes
    • Black Ballet Shoes for Ballet
    • Jazz sneakers or regular sneakers may be worn for Hip Hop.  Regular sneakers must be wiped off before entering the dance room to protect the flooring.
    • Jazz shoes for all other classes.

GIRLS

Ballet

      • Pink Ballet shoes
      • Pink footed or convertible tights
      • Black leotard

Tap

      • Tap Shoes (intermediate/advanced jazz tap shoes)
      • Any color footed or convertible tights
      • Sports bra or any color leotard and shorts, capri pants, jazz pants or sweatpants (close fitting shirts may be worn over)

Broadway Jazz

      • Jazz shoes or twylas
      • Any color footed or convertible tights
      • Any color leotard or athletic tank top (shirts may be worn over)

Contemporary/Lyrical

      • Jazz shoes or twylas
      • Any color footed or convertible tights
      • Any color leotard (no shirts over)
      • Shorts

Hip-Hop

    • Jazz sneakers or regular sneakers may be worn.  Regular sneakers must be wiped off before entering the dance room to protect the flooring.
    • Loose fitting clothing including pants, capri pants, jazz pants or sweatpants, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, and sports bra may be worn.

REFUND POLICY

Tuition is NON REFUNDABLE after auditions. Please note that by registering you are committing financially and that you understand that we cannot offer refunds after auditions, even in unforeseen circumstances such as a pandemic.
