The East Cobb Theatrical Company is a musical theatre training program designed for students with a passion for musical theatre who wish to further their skills in acting, singing, and dancing. The Company requires a higher level of commitment and a desire to improve and refine musical theatre techniques. Entrance is by audition only.

What does each company entail?
• Must be at least in 4th grade for 2020-21 school year.
• 5 hour class commitment each week
– Group Voice
– Musical Theatre Dance
• Annual company Christmas Show in December
• Featured dance scene in their respective Open School Show
• End-of-year musical revue with college and industry scouts
• Theatre Competitions / Festivals
Auditions have already passed and we are no longer accepting applications. We would love to still have you join us for classes and our open school shows! We hope you’ll consider auditioning for company for the 2021-2022 season!
Dues / Fees
Once you make company, you will be required to pay a one time $350 company fee and sign a contract committing to the full year and to everything company entails. Company members will receive a company sweatshirt. Company Members will pay $255 a month for nine months (this is the cost of taking five classes a week). Each additional class company members choose to take will be an extra $35 a month.
If finances are an issue, please reach out to us and we will see what we can work out. Please note that you will not be charged until after you make company.

Please note that company members are not required to participate in Open School Shows and therefore compnay dues do not include performances for open school shows.
• Dance shoes and attire
Girls: pink ballet, black tap, and black jazz or nude character shoes
Boys: black ballet, black tap, and black jazz shoes
Open classes and shows are available to the public.
Anyone can take and participate in these classes and shows.
Company classes and shows refers to classes and shows only offered/available for company memberes (ie. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the musical revue, and company group classes for acting, musical theater, dance, and voice).

We are devoted to developing young actors filled with courage, confidence, and passion in a Christ-centered environment. Students participating in the program will learn to reach within themselves to affect and move audiences.
